A push for creationism gains in Springboro (Ohio)

Two Springboro school board members are one vote short of having the support on the five-member board to push for “creationism” in classrooms there, which would likely ignite a wider debate on teaching religion in public schools and maybe set up a court fight.

Whatup Ohio.

Also, I am simply baffled that this is even an issue anymore. I’m even more baffled that “educated” people in positions of power still believe in the creation myth…it’s really amazing to me, and quite worrisome.
