Good and bad news today. See here for background.

The Good: It’s an angiogram, not an angioplasty. I’m having it done Friday morning.

The Bad: It could become an angioplasty if they need to, but they can do it at the same time. Just an overnight stay if that’s the case….but at least this time I’ll have my stuff (ipod, kindle, etc.) instead of laying there staring at the light fixtures.

The Good: The new cardiologist is great. Very blunt and down to earth, but sympathetic at the same time.

The Bad: It has to be done at the Hospital of Doom, and more than likely I’ll have the same nursing staff. I’ll be calling them tomorrow to see if Himmler will be working, and request someone else care for me while there.

The Good: When they (a Catholic Hospital) asks “Religious preference?” I can respond with a smile.

The Good: Finally back on pressure meds and statins.

The Bad: They’re fucking horsepills!

The Bad Bad: No more good food. I have to eat crappy healthy stuff the rest of my life.

Still hoping it’s just gas.

UPDATE: Part III

Is it Shareworthy?
